Current Challenge
Description
Write a story that deals with one or more of the Dragonball, Dragonball z, or Dragonball GT characters going to school and receiving an education.
Clarification: Now I want you to use your imagination here people. This can include everything from Trunks going to school on the first day to Vegeta learning about Saiyajin culture to Bulma designing the Dragon Radar in class to whatever else your mind can come up. The only limitation is that it must deal with education in a formal context.
Rationale: It's back to school time here in the U.S. as well as in Japan. What better time to have this challenge?
Entry dates
Starting time - 12am Pacific Daylight Time, Sept 1, 2001
Ending time - 12m Pacific Daylight Time, Oct 1, 2001
Submission
Must be posted to the mailing list 0-DBZ-Fanfiction on yahoogroups.
If you are not a member of that mailing list, you would need to join in order to
post. If you do not wish to join a mailing list, you mail either email your
submission to myself or Lady
Lark, and we will post it and submit it for you.
All submissions, whether posted on the ML or sent directly to one of us, should
have the words "Challenge Entry" in the subject line along with the
title of the fanfic. You may enter the text directly into the email, or attach
it as a Word, HTML, or text document.
Unlike the contests, there are no prizes awarded, and you won't be voted on by others. These are a way to improve your skills as a writer without pressuring you with the idea of competition, and also hopefully to help you with ideas for those suffering writers block. ^_^
