The Saiya-jin War

An explanation:

This 'fic' is an RPG between several people. The setup is the following:

Vegeta-sei is still around. For whatever reason - whether he couldn't or just chose not to - Freeza did not destroy Vegeta-sei. Instead, he killed the king, and declared war on the planet. Before the king died, he managed to get the young prince - then only 5 years old - off the planet to safety.

Current timeline is set at the time when Radditz originally arrived on Chikyuu. However, because Freeza did not enslave or raise Radditz, Nappa, and Vegeta, their personalities and worlds are very different....

We are looking for more players, and because of the particular AU aspect of this RPG, Saiyajin characters - whether invented or canon - are not only accepted, but encouraged. But please, no 'long lost siblings' of Goku or Vegeta, and no characters born with power levels that rival Vegeta's when he first arrives on Earth (or even higher). If you do that, your character concept will be thrown out. We've already seen a couple of instances of this, and we really don't like power-munchkins in the game.

Yes, part of this may appear to be 'plagiarized' from my fic 'Crossed Paths'. No, it is not plagiarized. I wrote it first here, and then decided that I had another idea for a fic, and I wanted to use it there. Yes, I copied that scene pretty much word for word. But because it was MY fic and the part I copied from here was done by ME, it was NOT PLAGIARISM! So don't get your knickers in a twist when you see it, and assume that this was the case. I simply had another idea I wanted to go with, and I wanted to use that particular scene of my own since it worked perfectly for both. It's only a short scene anyway, and only used for setup, so is hardly important to the plot itself.

Btw, the whole "Bulma can't cook worth crap" thing is purely a fanfic invention. In the anime, Mirai Trunks mentions that his mother is a good cook, and that she had even taught him how to cook. She also cooks when she and Goku were traveling together as kids, and he certainly didn't complain then. Nor did any of the others complain on those occasions when she cooked for them. In fanfics, I think the only reason that fanfic writers have Vegeta complaining about her cooking is that they don't have the imagination to come up with other insults that he might give her. And maybe they're getting her confused with Akane.... :-)
